Have you been feeling overwhelmed… as if time is moving faster than usual?
Have you gone through any traumatic physical issues recently?
Do you feel like you need to find more peace and quiet in your life?
It seems that a lot of us are going through big changes mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Below are 5 ideas for helping to feel balanced and calm among the many storms that are occuring on our planet.
1) BREATHE: Take a very slow breath (4 counts) in through the nose repeating the words: peace, joy, harmony, or well being. Exhale through the mouth any one of those words (5-6 counts). Repeat this as many times as needed until you feel altered.
2) 2-3 MINUTE MEDITATION: My teacher recommends this throughout the day to keep you grounded and calm.
3) WALK IN NATURE:Very restorative and rejuventating
4) YOGA CLASS: Will shift you completely from your current focus to a shifted perspective on life.
5) VISUALIZATION: Visualizing white light going into your body for healing and helping to extend your energy field.
Any one of these tools can help you shift from feeling overwhelmed to a sense of calm.
